Monochrome Monday

Notice I didn't use the Rule of Thirds?

I thought placing my subject (my baby girl) in the middle of the twisting tube, added interest.

I'm a photographer, and rule oof thirds are useful, but limiting. This is brilliant rule breaking.

Babooshka, I appreciate that. Very amateur photographer here so any advice is appreciated.

Just Me, Thanks for checking me out.

Great timing on the shot! It's hard to take pictures with moving subjects.

My Monochrome picture is posted here. Have a great week ahead!

Such an interesting perspective in monochrome! Thereis a real sense of frozen movement!

That's a good one too. Caught the movement just right.

I think you should have a good idea of the rules - so that you know when and why you're breaking them!
This is excellent!

Shutter, Thanks so much. I appreciate it so much.

Greyscale, Thank you. I saw that also. I never know if I've got it right. I just know I try to capture exactly what I am feeling at that moment.

Aileni, Thank you. I was hoping you would say that.

Dragonstar, Thank you for your comments. I am still learning the technicalities. I have taken pictures for years and have heard that they are good but now I want to tweak and know why something looks good and how to make it better.

Starnitsky, Thank you.

Daryl, Thanks. My kids were having a blast.

Liz, Thank you. I was hoping it was accepted nicely.
