I truly love this door. It is the door to my pantry. I love the latch and the handle it reminds me of my grandparents house in Upstate NY. Even if we were to update the kitchen I can't imagine ever changing the door.
As for the hearts. I painted them when I was pregnant with my first baby and planned on putting my kids names on them but still have not done that.

I wouldn't change a thing either. It is just too rustic and should not be tampered with. Great photo.
Have a wonderful Ruby Tuesday.
I was thinking the same thing about the door - reminds me of the one that used to be in my aunt's home. Great photo :)
Don't ever change the door - it's wonderful - old-fashioned latch and all!
The sentiment on the hearts is one I have always loved.
Happy Ruby Tuesday.

Christmas at Shopping Mall
The door is gorgeous, you are right to never change it. The hearts are fine without their names, as both have a special place in your heart...
Driller, Thanks for agreeing. The door is adorable.
People With Cameras, Thanks for stopping by. Glad I could bring back a memory.
Carletta, I love that everyone loves this door. The latch is one of my favorite parts.
Dora, Merry Christmas to you too.

and so is the sentiment on the heart - lovely creation :)
That's a lovely door, with a sweet oldfashion feel to it, I agree. It work so well! Pretty and matching ornament too.
