I'm staring out into the night
And trying to hide the pain
I'm going to the place where love
and feeling good don't ever cost a thing,
And the pain you feels a different kind of pain
I'm going home to the place where I belongAmazing to think this was once someones home. Family walked through these halls and laughter rang through the yards but now strangers just pass through. Weddings are held here, concerts and tours given. We get to smell the flowers and take pictures among the property but it was once the home of a family. I love taking my kids here to walk and take pictures but I always find myself wondering about the family who called this place home.

Love black and white and your new home looks like it has an air of Mystery about it.
Thanks for comments on my blog.
The booking office might be able to tell you. Or a Google Search.
Brian, I agree with the mystery part but I only wish I could call it me new home.
Aileni, Thanks for visiting. I actually do know a little about the history of the home. I usually try to keep some mystery about where I live because of the thousands of pictures of my kids on this site. But they were a very prestigious family to the area "ages ago."
The image itseld is extremely evocative but your narrative was added awhile other layer. Very interesting thoughts.
babooshka, Well, thanks so very much.
I love the angle you shot that at. Beautiful. Carver's Monochrome
What an atmosphereic looking place!
It looks Tudorish and is a distinct manor style about it! Fascinating!
